FACT (Films Accessing into
Community Training) is an exciting new film training project
that aims to target disadvantaged communities in the Normanton
area of Derby. The project is funded by Derbyshire Learning
and Skills Council ESF co-financing. The main aim of the
project is to underpin key skills such as communication,
team working, writing and ICT skills by offering extensive
outreach advice and guidance, delivering a foundation
training programme based on writing short films scripts
and the involvement in the production of short films.
