Jaharlal Sen

Educated at the London College of Printing Jaharlal's focus is firmly embedded in the theoretical and practical application of Indian, Black-British and Third Cinema traditions to New Wave British Cinema.

Currently working in Youth Community Arts, Jaharlal has facilitated numerous training workshops, including running the Transmission project, working with young people from Tower Hamlets, and facilitating a poetry-film venture with the Royal Festival Hall and local children from the Lambeth area.

A Writer-Director in his own right, Jaharlal's latest film project The Apology (funded by the Peabody Trust and Tower Hamlets Film Office) is just one of a number of ventures exploring the British-Asian Experience.
