Synopsis

Returning to his youth-haunt of Brick Lane, Joe (45) begins a search for an old acquaintance. Escorted by a young Asian taxi-driver, Sammi, he ponders on his reaction on seeing him after all these years. Visiting various locales and talking incessantly to his new pal, Joe eventually learns of his whereabouts. However, all turns complicated when he discovers his acquaintance has since died. Shaken by the news, Joe confesses the reason behind this visit - a belated apology for past misdeeds. Pondering on his future state, Joe's past 'ghosts' return to haunt him - leaving Joe wondering whether Apology alone is enough.
